此枚光绪元宝（户部造）长须短尾龙，乃晚清机制币中的典范之作，长须短尾龙纹版别更显珍稀。铜质温润，历经百年仍葆莹润光泽，当属户部造币总厂铸造精品。This Guangxu Yuanbao (made by the Ministry of Revenue) with the long-beard and short-tailed dragon pattern is a model work among the machine-made coins of the late Qing Dynasty, and the version with the long-beard and short-tailed dragon pattern is even more rare. The copper quality is warm, and it still retains a lustrous glow after a hundred years. It should be a fine product cast by the General Mint of the Ministry of Revenue.
