锡壶制作可追朔的年代甚早，自清初制锡名工沈存周起，经朱石梅得以发扬，此后工艺渐衰，今已不传。锡壶工艺颇受喜爱，至今存世尤稀，更显珍贵。李斗《扬州画舫录》：“近时则归复所制锡壶为贵。王士桢《居易录》：”锡器称赵良璧，好事家争购之。然其器实精良，非他工所及，其得名不虚也。”此壶工艺复杂精良，刻绘流畅，功力深厚。又用料讲究，颇为珍贵，具有极高的收藏价值。The craft of tin teapot making dates back to a very early period. It flourished from the early Qing Dynasty with the renowned tin artisan Shen Cunzhou and was further developed by Zhu Shimei, after which the craft gradually declined and has since been lost. Tin teapots were highly cherished, and surviving examples are exceedingly rare today, making them even more precious. Li Dou wrote in Record of Yangzhou Painted Pleasure Boats: "Recently, tin teapots made by Gui Fu are highly valued." Wang Shizhen noted in Records of a Simple Life: "Tinware crafted by Zhao Liangbi is sought after by collectors. Indeed, his pieces are exquisitely made, surpassing those of other artisans, and his reputation is well-deserved." This teapot showcases complex and refined craftsmanship, with smooth and skillful engravings. Furthermore, the materials used are of high quality, rendering it extremely precious and of immense collectible value.
