Small regular script has long been celebrated for its delicacy and dignity, and this piece brings the beauty of the style to its fullest expression. The characters are neat and standardized; though the brushstrokes are slender, they contain inherent strength. The starting, moving, and ending of each stroke are precise and neat, with no sense of sluggishness or hesitation.
